Through my 10-year tuition, I have had fantastic learners, and have cherished the experience of constantly learning about contemporary ways of approaching a material so that it is enjoyable and fun for the student I am sitting with.
How I teach
The training philosophy of mine is student-focused: my objective is always to set up a supportive, stimulating and warm environment for learning to do well.
I respond immediately to the requirements of every person I tutor, modelling my training manner in the way that it fully complies with their identity and skill levels.
I also believe that students get to know well when they're doing practical things related to their studies. This denotes using games, writing tasks, drawing pictures, making rhymes, student presentations, and other types of interaction, which keeps scholars active and delighted relating to the object.
I teach efficiently and properly, quickly investigating areas for upgrade, and then applying basic pattern spotting strategies (if appropriate). I focus on making basic tasks for the child produce their own perception of the content. It is a big delight to come up with interesting and new methods of presenting the topic for it to be always fresh and interesting for the student and for me.
Feelings, emotions and tutoring maths
With the help of humour, patience, and encouragement, I permanently strive to teach my children that they are capable of much more than they imagine.
I consider that my willingness to match teaching techniques in compliance with the desires of learners, subject matter, and learner demographics are all serious for my ability to be successful as a trainer.
My teaching is based on the trust that the only way to learn maths is to do mathematics. Meantime the theoretical material is appreciated, the true comprehension comes through solving mathematical problems, either theoretical, computational, or both.
I have also noticed that giving tasks that have a direct relation to the student's personal life can facilitate their learning the theme and comprehension its application.
